This still life was rendered in the mid 80’s for an illustration class.  I held on to it for years because it was a favorite of mine.   The original sold during Open Studio event that my club, the Brentwood art society was presenting.  Artichokes are and have  always been my favorite vegetable as well as my favorite subject matter to paint, so it was definitely out of dire financial necessity that I had to sell it when I did.  But not before I ran some prints!
